Yes although that's part of the low pressure system. For us, it is only the showers that follow that are of interest.

Manchester Airport TAF looking very wintry most of tomorrow, including chance of thunderstorm and heavy snow between 10:00 and 17:00.

I've just noticed the upgraded bbc app and it has no heavy snow/rain symbols on it. I was trying to look all sorts of places for heavy snow symbols on it but no avail.

Looks like the majority of the showers tomorrow are north of the region mainly over Cumbria.
