Snow shower passed through here. Visibility really dropped and snow blowing in gusts.

A poky shower popped up just west of Manchester. Passed through here with heavy fine snow blowing in the wind and a marked drop in visibility. Cumulus clouds now have more oomph to them.

If we miss out on Friday/Saturday, that would be the final nail in the coffin for me, missed out on so many similar events i.e. lows coming up against cold air and stalling just to the south

If I was living in mid Wales right now I would be jumping up and down! They are on for deep snow.

Just had a heavy shower too. Bitter out and clouds rolling in. Pleasantly surprised so this bodes well for tomorrow and Friday we’ll have to see how far north it gets. My guess Stafford

Shower eased off and almost instantly cover has melted from road. We badly need sunset to arrive. Can the showers keep going overnight?
