With my hand firmly gripped to these;

The Irish blizzard appears to be backbuilding just below the Isle of Man off the Fylde coast, the front could push north to the same location and draw out energy from the back building low with the front forming a tail to it pushing westward over our region before crossing the coast. snow for everyone and decent amounts.

Are you serious? I hope so as I'm right here in Lytham - will let you know as soon as a flake falls...

Got the lightest snizzle in Newton le Willows. Apart from the initial fall on Monday, we’ve had hardly anything here. Snow bands keep fizzling out when they get here. Please let this one make it!

It could happen. I could also win the lottery one day. To be frank I think I'd be happy with the former.

Yea mate me too atm! Tbh running the radar through does look like things might be brewing positively in the Irish Sea towards the west coast but.  Just looked up back building re weather and yep would be great -  "storm seems to remain stationary or propagate in a backward direction."

Comparison of 3.15pm and 5.15pm - filling towards the NW coast...?

It's retreating, was at Warrington, now moved back to Widnes. Going more Westerly. "Luck of the Irish" has never been more apt a saying.

Us newton-le-willowers have struggled this week!

the band still doesn’t look exciting. Doing exactly what it did yesterday.
