Nick Miller on the BBC weather for the week ahead is indicating that the milder could take longer to reach us than models were showing earlier (well that's my interpretation of it anyway)

Warning should cover the whole region, showers are aligning in bands and now getting right across.

Latest GFS looking crap for us again, but all winter almost every time it's shown snow for me its not turned up. May be this time it is using reverse phycology to get some snow over here...

Pretty much continuous snow falling, fantastic easterly & much better than awful north westerlies which only give a few hours of slush.

I’ve got a feeling that there are going to be some nice surprises with the low tomorrow. I think we should at least get a bit of snow from it. If nothing else the cloud should mean that tomorrow is an ice day.

I might be deluded but I can't see the LP finding it that easy to introduce the milder air, I'm hopeful that the ECM 12z verifies

Week ahead weather.

Thursday evening southern parts of the region could see some longer spells of snow

Friday evening persistent snow across the region

Sat evening the same

Forecast finished with Nick Miller saying the Beast from the East

Is not ready to go home yet.

I would say if the Friday event stays on course would not be surprised

To see an amber warning.

The sky LOL.

On a weather note, the showers seemed to have peped up again, more yellows and they are making it at least over mine and Wills sheds complimenting our fantastic snow machine.
