Yep and its these features that forecasts cannot pick up on. Hopefully we can get a lot more action tonight.

Just hoping they can survive the hills. 

The showers are there and on the correct trajectory - just need them to last this far.

If these showers weren’t rolling in though I’m guessing -10 would be widespread tonight. I was sat on -4.7C about 6:30pm

Currently clear with some small, ragged cloud but at 9:28pm outdoor temp is already -5.2C.  Dry with very little breeze.

Stopped for the time being now and temp dropped to -5.3c , not much chance of a thaw overnight , might be a slippy drive to work in the morning

A lot of shower activity showing to our east and heading this way. I dont think this was forecast ?

 We now have a dusting after a heavy shower before. It’s the fluffiest powder snow I’ve ever seen. Hopefully more to come. -5.0°C.

snows died away now very impressed. bloody knackered tho, the coop has been hectic people panic buying saying they havent seen snow like it for years. hopfully some more showers tonight

Unpredictable tonight. Showers that appear to die suddenly spark into life again, whilst others don't. Odd night.
