Looking good on the radar with showers just to the north of Sheffield moving through/developing.  Its those which are tending to hit Manchester head on. O

Yep and its these features that forecasts cannot pick up on. Hopefully we can get a lot more action tonight. :)

Just hoping they can survive the hills.

The showers are there and on the correct trajectory - just need them to last this far.

If these showers weren’t rolling in though I’m guessing -10 would be widespread tonight. I was sat on -4.7C about 6:30pm

How much are we getting tonight do you think?

An extra cm would be nice but it depends on the streamer.

Currently clear with some small, ragged cloud but at 9:28pm outdoor temp is already -5.2C.  Dry with very little breeze.

Stopped for the time being now and temp dropped to -5.3c , not much chance of a thaw overnight , might be a slippy drive to work in the morning:oops:

Looking bleak now for my area big gaps between the showers. Fizzling out in the last few frames too. Good day though can't complain

Is Summer Sun a bit of a knob or os he ok?

Also thinks we can wish the weather to do what is ‘morally right’.

Think he is just misguided or doesn’t realise how the heat and high that he chases every year is a bigger killer

We now have a dusting after a heavy shower before. It’s the fluffiest powder snow I’ve ever seen. Hopefully more to come. -5.0°C.

Unpredictable tonight. Showers that appear to die suddenly spark into life again, whilst others don't. Odd night.
