Been radar watching all day but the showers keep losing their mojo before the get to us!! We do have a nice covering but that’s all. Be nice to get a bit more off this incoming band

Where is 'us' Snowmusic, if you put your location in your profile or sinature, we will know where you are.  :)

Something weird is happening with the rain today radar. It was showing loads of showers going to hit Manchester about now and then suddenly they all totally disappeared :wallbash:

I dont know if it was faulty when it was showing the showers and now its correct or it was correct and its just developed a fault :sorry:

Still there mate, just hope they make it!

It maybe a radar error because on Rain today they disappear at 17:50 then reappear for one 5 minute segment before going completely but when I pan out they disappear from everywhere at the same time even over Scotland so somethings not right. having said that...no sign of any snow here :sorry:

Light snow looks like the life has been sucked out of them hopefully this isn't a sign of the night. Weird to the see the snow from thr ground drifting about. Just got home and shows the strengh of the sun when it has melted a lot.

Yep.. belting down again.

The drifts are amazing in my garden...well over 6inches ..

This is where Saddleworth comes in handy. Just east enough to catch to the showers before they die!

Lots more on the radar, I’m sure some of them will make it across the Pennines.

Got back from work to more powder snow falling again here now. Even got the bonus of some beefy prolonged snow showers down in Mid Cheshire at lunchtime. Really bitter outside. Hopeful for more snow tonight.
