I'm in sunny ulverston where are you ?

I’m currently about 60 miles south of Alicante in Spain. My flight home to Liverpool ( I say home I live in Spain now so more of a visit) I’ve been advised to change from Friday virtue of an email from the airline. I’m now flying back Sunday. They must be expecting some disruption at least potentially to send such an email.

Another snow shower, sticking to pavements, whereas the past few hours they haven't been here.

I'm guessing it's below freezing again now. Hope we get another covering overnight.

Current snow shower developed right over the Pennines has deposited 2-3cm.... have 4-6 inches where it’s not melted and drifted... largish icicles everywhere where there’s been compaction... -2c

Another 'ice day' here despite the sun melting whatever snow was exposed to it earlier on, a 'high' of -0.4'c with temps already down to -3.5'c as the sun sets. Caught this picture of Kinder Downfall frozen over on buxtonweather whilst quickly looking at the temps.

Don't mean to be pedantic here but if it's working E it's heading to the North Sea.

Just got home.. felt quite tropical in my lorry when the sun was coming through the windscreen.felt different when i got out the cab.........

Drove from Blackburn to Bolton over the tops, could see the incoming snow shower, within 30 seconds visibility had gone to zero. Had to pull over it was that bad.

Anyway, most the snow melted here in Horwich except for shaded areas.

It’s put about 5cms down in 15 minutes here, if not more. Really chucking it down with big flakes and no wind. East Cumbria seems to be in the firing line for the next 12 or more hours and has been bumped into the amber warning.

Yep, the shower died. If that continues then west of the M6 won’t see much, which BBC and Metoffice seem to think.

It doesn’t look like it from the BBC forecast I just saw, just showers piling into the NE mainly, with scattered showers elsewhere
