Seems to be a lot of showers showing for Wednesday now. We shall see. Been looking at the other regions. I’ll never again say people are miserable on here. The other regions are much worse.

The cloud has almost completely gone so this leaves the sun to do the nasty work.

On the plus side, the 6z gfs brings some snow showers from the east during the night and then tomorrow with the coldest uppers snow streamers cross the country. Tomorrow the best day for snow showers.

Looking at the 6z GFS could be 18 hours of snow before it passes to our North. 0°C Iso passes North of us on Sunday Morning.

How this fits in with the rest, I dont know. All will be revealed in the coming days.

I am not even looking at the end of the week/weekend. A lot of uncertainty about the system coming from the south.

Tomorrow looks really juicy and convective, especially in the afternoon.

On the BBC forecast it looks like another band of snow moving weat around lunch time... It moves west on the sequence, yes it breaks up but better than nothing.

Looks like a 20 minute snow fix as the band passes. Its even possible that a location could get a nowt as a shower passes to the North and South.

Reading everyone's reports it looks like i've got the least snow (SHOCK) could see the individual flakes on the ground this morning, would have been pretty happy with 0.5cm just to cover everything.

The approaching band is massing nicely over the Peaks:

It hasn't lost intensity yet on the radar, let's see what the highest land does to it.

For the love of god avoid the model thread. All the southerners throwing toys out of prams

I steer clear of that place when snow is coming and stick to the regionals. Soft southerners - I wont lie, it does make me smile a little if the North is due snow and the south is due rain

Anyways - Suns out and its melting the snow fast.

I got slated in the model thread for saying that the sun will make short work of any snow at this time of year

im sat here watching it all rapidly melt with the temperature still below freezing

Still only 0.0°C. I wanted to stay as cold as possible so I wish this next band would hurry up.

Snow is melting from roofs but not from grass and shade

So typical I didn't see a snowflake as it came down in the night and early morning but we've had about 2 inches see earlier post, suns out now, drip drip drip and not a cloud in the sky!
