I’ve never understood why people clear the driveways and path. Not like you can’t walk or drive on it? Makes things worse usually with ice underneath. It’s easier to walk on snow. usually sit there with a nice warm cup of tea watching the one or two neighbours doing this and still to this day don’t understand the benefits. Plus I prefer seeing the driveway covered in snow, it’s boss

Only because my folks are at mine, and they're a bit doddery and not as steady on their feet as they used to be. Otherwise I'd be letting it pile up.

Morning mate! We seem to have the most meagre dusting of snow that barely registers on the depth scale. Speaking to colleagues of mine it appears areas around have a lot more, as with every other snowfall this winter. Won't be paying any more attention to this 'cold snap' as this is the best chance we will get. A truely awful, vile and sickening winter, which has failed to produce any more than a dusting of snow I am sick of it already! I looking forward to spring already to be honest fella!

Happy as always! If you have some close by why not go and enjoy it. Bet you don’t have to travel far.

We’ve had some melt but it’s lightly snowing again here. Wonderful stuff ?

It's Intensifying as it clears Lands End...!! - maybe this was what the warning and concern was for IF it was over the South Coast - i'd be well p *$$ed if I was down there and saw this radar

Maybe 2cm here in south manchester. Im happy with that but sounds like other usually less favoured places have got more which is great. Still chances for more snow over the next few days i think and Friday Saturday is still unpredictable.

A light covering at half 2 has turned into a dusting now which is melting, It was actually melting at arundel 4 ish when i had a look outside, bloody wind came on shore for  while so that must not of helped but it does look like Merseyside got hardest hit so no doubt a pleasent surprise for some. At least it appears  the Midlands did not get as much as they perhaps were expecting.

Without reading too much into the forecasts, it does seem there ain't too much more snow potential for our region but lets see what that radar says. Hopefully the convection beefs up a little bit also, looks a bit more scattered than I thought it would be.

What are the chances of the showers making it over? Metoffice aren’t too confident.
