Very heavy sleet, 2.9°C.

Good to see that people close to the coast are reporting some wintriness. This is the final part of the rain band that is getting caught up by the cold upper air. However, the band seems to be weakening as it travels eastwards.

 Haven’t had anything but drizzle all morning and then all of a sudden this started.

Got lighter and turned back to rain but now very heavy again and massive drops which indicates snowflakes melting not far above my head. Probably on the turn here soon as well.

Lost intensity and it's all back to rain now. I think it's done. At its height there were massive flakes mixing with the rain

Does anyone live near Mam Tor, Castleton or Teggs Nose? If they do, can they advise on current conditions in terms of snow? Looking to take the Dog tomorrow morning.
