Mmmm... didn't quite catch the sweet spot of the sausage, in fact dare I say it... it looked a bit 'watery'... and took the top off the fluffy white settling of the earlier 'Blob'

Hope we've not gone of the wrong end of the marginals :nonono:

If this is associated to SSW... that's not really started yet, which will take the models by next wkd to get a grip with it.... all I can say is BRING IT ON :yahoo:

And I love climate change... because it means the UK, can be like the U.S.... RUSSIA... CHINA n KOREA :D

The council keep coming along to grit the main road and it's getting covered in the next shower with the heaviness.

3 inches latest measurement on grass. But still going.

Showers seem to lining up over us. Non stop for 40 mins or so. Two inches or so out there and looks like another 20 or 30 mins still to come.

3 - 4 inches on the tops of Oldham East and still coming down. Most snow of the season so far and the first time in a long while that I will have to walk to work!

I've seen it much worse than this, however when Lancashire police are tweeting advice to keep off certain motorways and the local bus services have stopped running, then I guess the "blob and sausage" event may be talked about for a while!!

Thankfully that little watery sleet shower earlier has now been replaced by a steady band of snow, adding another inch or so to what settled earlier.  A little streamer has setup.
