If @s4lancia isn't keen on the MAD thread there's no doom and gloom in here. We're listening.  :)

I have to agree with him though. The Mod thread is suffering this year big time. I’m not saying people who are learning shouldn’t post, so I don’t want to be misunderstood here, but the trash thats coming out of some peoples fingertips is bloody hard work to read through daily! Snipe snipe, unfounded one liners with absolutely no attempt to provide any form of evidence.  It’s painful!

When did it start? 7.6C yesterday, and 7C today..twas only a couple of days ago and we were in double digits....seemingly way off the MAD thread seizure postings from days ago.

Have to agree. As someone who rarely posts in there and watches on the posts have got signifcantly worse my some. its a real shame as quality posters in there such as Steve Murr, Blue Army, Nick Sussex, Tamara etc... but if you haven't been on for a while you think 7 pages yipeee. scroll through and its arguments or trolling, feel sorry for the mods! It seems an endless task.

Happened a lot this last week, like i said last night i came back to 23 new posts in a short space of time and only about 5 were worth the effort to read. I think my ignore list might grow soon if things don't change.

I have never exercised that option to put people on ignore, very tempting now you mention it! lol

Looking good for here. Mind you we were promised a day of rain on Saturday and instead got a shower in the morning and sunshine for almost the rest (Not complaining) so caution is still required as it' not a given!

Well I poked my nose into the MAD thread to see if there was any chance of snow and read that the trough disruption over the Azores could affect the upper strat profile as long as the Greenland vortex remains and with La Nina now in decline a lag effect of high amplitude phase MJO with wriggle room for 8 injection of AAM and with low solar activity which could seriously affect Eurasia rather than Conus.

Ive never been more insulted in all my life.  Shant go in there again.

Any chance of snow anyone?

Hmm, the graphic on the met office website changes from snow, to sleet and back to snow again for Tuesday

If lucky, maybe a chance to make a 'sleet-man' - if it's possible.

The MAD thread, i ain't going in there for a while

Just been reading about Yakutz in Russia where the  temperature at 6am will be minus 45.  They say that a quick dash to the local store will possibly result in frost bite and you are told not to wear glasses because the metal sticks to your cheeks and you pull off strips of flesh when you remove them.

Would that cold enough for some lol.
