I guess you just can't help human nature, some people's glass is always half full, while others are half empty. It's best to just let them moan and when they do, add them to your ignore list. My list is fairly lengthy.....

6 pages long for my ignore list, I can't stand the glass half empty posters. Only problem is quoted posts from your ignored users still appear if someone else replies to their posts.

Don't blight the thread ..

A really unexciting 3C here and light rain. Rained on and off for most of today from what I could see through my window. So a cold week ahead then. Hopefully it will kill off a lot of nasties and maybe even make for an entertaining lamppost watch - even if they are now all LED and piercing to look at. :vava:

Lol Jay  you’ll not be popular in the SE I mean Mad thread :D

Got a trifle confused when someone posted they were fed up with all the north south rubbish - I thought blimey that M4 again is being quite the antagonist - Then I realised I looking at a post on the Mad thread.

I see the radar is showing sleet for some parts of south central. We’ve still only rain... I don’t think it feels too cold either. (Probably just down to  the large slabs of toblerone I have devoured..)

We’re are at risk of going off topic in here

who’s round is it? I’m getting on it!

This is easily the best thread on Netweather, we always have a laugh together, it’s my sanctuary when times are good and bad!

The mad thread is great when it’s great, and horrendous when a promised cold spell goes tits up, I just wish sometimes people could use some self control. I don’t envy the mods, they are all volounteers, bit like referees, no refs not football, rugby, tennis etc. They have a rough time! It’s not surprising we’ve lost a couple over the last 12 months, I’d quit after a day I reckon lol. Not before I banned a choice few members first though lol :p

Nice work. You'd love our local down here. Landlord is a gin nut. Has 30 gins behind the bar always has 2 gins of the week and when I go up to north west Scotland for my hols I end up bringing back some new ones for him.

Better late than never. Hoping you stick clear of that Gordon's muck though. Gin is the perfect drink with all types of weather!

People posting in the model output discussion thread about the SE all the time are clits in my opinion. Funny how people get bitter when I mention it and my post gets deleted.

Watch your tongue mister  will it snow in Cardiff?... both parties are guilty.
