Yeah but as I can't understand half of them my skim-reading is quite quick! :D

Managed to steal some time down the pub for a quick pint before heading home. Was a lovely half hour nice beer open fire friendly landlord and a stonking ECM run to watch unfold.

Longest week ever in model land. Hoping to be on board this time tomorrow!

This really has been the longest week ever!! And it’s only Wednesday ???

Prospect of mouth watering models for cold to start Sunday and a certain cup final I’m off to on Sunday is not the ideal combination for a fast week!

im like a kid at Christmas atm, this week is dragggggiiiiiinggg!

Nipped down the walkhampton inn. Lovely pub since it reopened. Young landlord loves his ales always something different on down there. Has some gin behind the bar too......

Cold looks to break down after Thursday BUT I’ll be very happy if we get nice cold and powder snow for three days until Thursday before the Atlantic powers back in once more.

HUH?! I thought it was going for 24 hours then coming back from the east harder?

Just a quick one from me - been busy all day!

I've just looked at the ECM out to 216, and that has to be one of my favourite runs so far! If you take it at face value, there would be plenty of snow for our region, that's for sure!

As you were..

That chart right here:

850temp_216.thumb.jpg.44c1a0ca8092aa26b93ef810fecb4aa6.jpg

Any other time, it would be wet and windy. But, such as the depth of cold that has filtered South of us, a Southerly brings cold air with snow in the SW, W and up through the spine of the country.

Get Lorst! We can't even do 5 days yet let alone owt past that lol

Quiet in here tonight! You are all either at the pub or holding your breath for the 18z

I’m not sure I’ve got the patience to watch the knee jerking that’s about to roll out of the keyboard warriors in the Mad thread.

INTER RUN VARIATIONS CONTINUE!!!

It’s not a surprise, how many more times :wallbash:

Model thread starting to do my nut in.

Toys

Pram

Thrown

And we only get -13 uppers with -10 dew point. In Plymouth.

This naturally to some muppets equals rain.

i just despair :(:D

Already being shot down as the run looks fine according to others.

Not the best job in the world, but if it turns really cold its been advised to call in and check the elderly are ok,so if you are in the New Forest area some public spirited folk should call in and check im ok.......ive washed the tartan rug to go on my lap,ive oiled the casters on my zimmer frame for easy movement, ive got some old furniture you can smash up for firewood, also if I can find my reading glasses I can do a list of acceptable real ales to keep me awake,so form an orderly queue lol

Yup! For us it’s perfect either way, we either get raging easterly with snow showers heading west, or France goes bonkers cold so when we get a southerly wind, the uppers won’t wash out!!! I’m happy

People writing it off as moving south again when it's slightly further north than the ECM was earlier. Or according to some posts it is. Confused yet? :cc_confused:

It’s further south. Not north. But it doesn’t matter. Until all models agree it’s not even worth getting hung up about, not that I would anyway. Few very cold days and nights before the snow arrives is fine by me :spiteful:

My radar is showing a snow shower traveling Southwestwards down the M5 currently just south of Wellington. Can anyone confirm this or is it just high level evaporation?
