Lovely day, and feeling warm in the sun with no wind.

Long may it continue (as long as Snow Nirvana from SSW) doesn't impact on little old Blighty that is.

Frosty start this morning but been a lovely day since. Springlike once again and have been out without a coat! High cloud beginning to show its hand to the west.

Beautiful spring day here, birds in full song, carpets of snowdrops, hazel catkins flowering, pears budding and the apricot flowering in the greenhouse had a couple of bumble bees buzzing around. Not entirely sure I want it to turn cold when there's so much promise already showing outside.

Office day today so been missing the warmth hoping tomorrow comes up trumps, as it feels like the last 6 Saturdays have been raining!

You must have managed over  8°C before then, surely? I had 13.2°C on the 2nd January.

Here's my maximums thus far:

GFS shows cold: England are going to win the world cup blah blah blah

I can't wait for the GFS to put a spanner in the works and see everyone fall apart over single operational runs. It makes my side split!

.. just adding to my above post ..

If this does come to fruition, those in the North West  can forget it! They may as well go in to their Summer hibernation now, as they'll get nothing but a chilly wind. sarcastic_hand.gif

just checking, when they roll out new updates for models like now with the ecm, do they do it 1 day at a time every 10 mins or so or do they do it all in one???

It’s every 10 mins @Leon1 for ECM I believe. GFS is quicker because there’s more time frames (3,6,12 hours etc) ECM is slower due to its frame being 24 hours ie 24, 48, 72, 96 etc... UKMO I think is the slowest of the lot
