How about a nice 00z EURO4 to lift our moods... Oh wait, maybe not.... Be Interesting in the coming runs though to see if the back edge turns to snow and also what follows behind...

Funny isn’t it, the rain comes in hots everyone like a freight train no dying out over Welsh moutains but Guarantee if that was snow it wouldn’t be fizzling out zapped by mountains and barely make it .  I wonder why rain has no issues soaking everyone in large quantities at times yet snow just struggles so much . It’s not like we are a massive continent with vast distances to make it is it we only ask for 100 miles in land or just over yet snow is incredibly weak. What a weird place we live yet Paris Spain Morocco even the deserts seem to get more than us when  they get it

Really good to get that light falling snow yesterday.
That makes it three snow days this month. Not a lot but it was snow.

See the Beeb have got rid of the brown muck and our lovely island has gone green again.
No more headache either as the zooming round the UK has gone.
Meteo pushing out their graphics on the Beeb I suppose.
Really daft though the new Beeb site now has local weather video back, but its in Flash, ahhhhhh!

Nice bright clear morning here.
1.7c at midnight, now 0.2c, wind is very light and NW, 1019.3 hPa

It's proving extremely difficult getting settling snow in my locale. Really thought something might come of this current spell, but alas another big fat fail.

Times ticking on, and we have this SSW QTR WTF  looming in the back ground......

Some feisty hail sleet showers coming through the Tamar valley this morning. This beauty has just crashed into torpoint just skirting west round plymouth

I got quite excited when someone in Sherborne posted on here that it was snowing last evening.  Looked out and couldn't see anything.  This morning revealed a very little of what obviously passes for snow in Dorset these days!  None showing on grass or paving, just on the bare soil.

Morning, bit brrrrr :cold:out there, quite a sharp frost on top of the dusting we got last night. Snowed here for a good couple of hours last night, would have been a good covering if the flakes hadn't been so teeny, mustn't grumble though as everything has a covering of white. Looking like a nice day ahead with clear blue sky and sunshine.

Sweet FA on my drive to Chichester this morning, not on cars, fields or anywhere else. Thought I ight see a dusting on route somewhere, but nope, nudder!

Now all hopes pinned on this SSW and its QTR. Have we got the steel if a Channel low shows up ..........TBC

The BBC's brand new forecast failed on the first day. lol!

They showed -5 to -6 for Oxford. They had me down for -2. It didn't even get below zero, and not even a grass frost.

They had me down for -2 & -3c, just managed -1c for about 10mins  before it started climbing quickly as the sun came up

We have lived here for just over 5 years and today is the first time snow has still been on the ground approaching midday! Everything in the sun has thawed though.

Stunning, sparkly, frosty day here. My next favourite after snow. No snow to wake up to here but cars coming across from Callington, East Cornwall area have a light covering. They seem to be doing well this week by SW standards. ???

My dads just been on the phone to a friend who’s in southern Spain at the moment and they’ve even had snow there which is very rare for them, we’ve just managed a bit of dandruff here so far this winter. :wallbash:
