Always a chance it could stall further west and invigorate or am I just dreaming now?

I dare to dream. But given the current setup of above average heights over to the NE it’s not inconceivable. Goes against everything the MetO are saying though

My daughter came home from school last week and told me she had eaten rock salt from the playground. Yes she’s just as nutty as I am ?

there is a small chance, according to met office and the good old bbc app there is 3 hours of snow in the evening tomorrow at 5, 6, and 7 pm, just a chance. only light though

Just kidding, blizzard upon your arrival!

My focus now is getting that front to revigorate 6 hours earlier

given the modelled intensity of the ppn for tomorrow, 3 hours of ppn will result in approx 9 snow flakes, a rate of 3 flakes per hour...lol

Just look at that radar. You wouldn't think that it will come to nothing :sorry:

remember there's always a chance, but not very likely :( just to think that this time last week, the snow was set to fall across most of the west country, and now only a luck few will see flurries :( hopefully the ssw starts something up :cold:

Aye don't be so sure that screenshot of the current radar is a good 20 mins in front of the predicted rainfall! For all we know that rain band could fade that much within 20 minutes! :nonono:

From what I've seen according the Netweather SR model that the band of precipitation seems to reinvigorate as it passes through the Irish Sea.

Don’t go in the MAD thread.. reports from Ireland say it’s evaporating before it hits the ground ?

Current radar plots show wintry precipitation in the Scilly Isles and the front in Ireland has not moved further eastwards in the last 4 hours.

Beat me to it. Sounds bleak.:sorry:

Tomorrow here is now predicted thick cloud. Pretty sure we'll have the odd grain out of it but not alot else.

But with no sunshine it will feel bitter.

In the bleak midwinter frosty wind made moan. Earth stood hard as iron, water like a stone. Snow had fallen, snow on snow, snow on snow.

First sentence = tick
