Lovely frosty start to the day here, hope the rain stays away until at least late afternoon.

Finally an air frost last night with a low of -0.8°C. Nice and sunny at the moment and feeling fresher than the last few days.

Just looking over the charts and weather forecasting apps and its looking like a chance of snow for our region above the M4 corridor. Late Saturday looking a possibility. Now thats out the way the rest of us can look forward to some cold rain on Saturday but then next week is looking dry!!!!

Is that a new way of saying the dreaded ‘north of the M4’ without actually saying that?

Do I detect a dry Jan? Will the first drink be 12.01 am on the 1st Feb?

Maybe you’ll be able to toast the long awaited snowfall arriving.

I've just driven from Trowbridge to Warminster and it was fascinating to see the whole Western to Southern sky covered in a bank of Stratocumulus as the Warm Front approaches while the rest of the sky remained clear, rather rare not to have Cirrus as a precursor to a front.

Might have to bring the washing in before it drizzles.

On a side note, Karlos, if the chart you posted in the model thread for a fortnights time comes off then I can kiss goodbye to earning much bonus money doing outdoor work while my wife is on half term break!

It would not be pleasant for us that’s for sure. Luckily it’s the CFS.

He's clever is ol' Karlos, posting that keeps the Yay folks saying "Yay", and the Nay folks saying "Nay", a win win post if you ask me:hi:

The crew are preparing to remove this winters obstacle, namely the M4, explosives at the ready!

Clouded over here but still dry with the sun still coming out occasionally.
