The morning started off at 13C with gale force winds. ot in the warning area for anything, but a rogue gust took one of the doors clean off it's hinges at work! Cold front went through with a torrential downpour. Wind dropped and temp has now fallen to 9!

10mm tomorrow then 20mm on Wednesday going off latest hi res models.

only had 4mm this morning and there was standing water everywhere. So god knows what fun awaits on Wednesday.

It's going to have to pull out all the stops to reach that sort of total here today especially as the first line passed almost unoticed down here

Weather Display is the software which generates all the data. however, that site has been designed by someone to show the data itself.

YEP, somebody pulled the plug on Georgina's wind, as my readings display nicely!

Earlier high of 12C and now 06.5C. Still very lightly raining from leftover cloud but feeling fresher at least. Was in the gym when the squall came through and could hear it on the roof even with headphones in!

Raining again here. Thought that was it about an hour ago.

A day lost on our garden makeover. Hopefully rain will stop soon and surface water drain away by the morn so they can resume work on our garden.

Raining quite heavily again now after stopping briefly. Feels cooler out there than it did this morning.

That was a horrid morning, had one 45mph gust at 10:50am and a lot of 30-35mph ones between 9am and 1pm
Been raining on and off all day, so far 7mm.
Temp has dropped form 12c at 1pm to 6.7c now and it is feeling colder than that.

Looks like the wind peaked at 45mph this morning right before the heavy rain band moved through.

Morning All, a passing shower sent my dogs scurrying for cover as it became heavy for a short period, whilst a mile away it was as dry as a bone. Checking the shower its on a NE track so missed Bournemouth completely. Meanwhile the temperature dropped a degree and is now 6.6C, with a light breeze from the SW.

For the second week in a row the forecast for Saturday is worsening as it gets closer!

Meanwhile I am going to make a prediction ; there is only one week this winter that I don't want to be wintry, half term week 12th-16th February. It's still 3 to 4 weeks away and I predict it to be the most wintry week of this winter!

The air feels a bit cooler than the last few days but the sun is making it feel pleasant. No showers here this morning.
