Netweather's own snow forecast looks interesting from 5th Feb for those in the South West. Most of the UK gets it as well. Long way off, but....

Wow, you live at a height of 954ft asl, that’s well into cloud heights! Not knocking NW  “S” forecast, and at your heights anything will be possible, but 5th Feb that’s MAD thread territory you are talking about... welcome to the forum by the way..

Must be feet rather than metres, unless he lives on a Tor that has grown.. :O

Hi Dorsetbred,

Been around here for quite some time. I have kept a close eye on the Netweather Jestream forecast for nearly two years now, and I have to say, it is proving to be pretty accurate for the 14 day pitch.

And yes, it is in feet, a habit from being a pilot and i'm not a Russian one.

Looking at the radar, a classic front. The first wave of attack is a line of rainfall, gapped over the SW (normally Dorset). Meanwhile here we are at 12.2C, and the wind is gusting 45mph over the harbour, noticeably windy you could say so far today and the strength is increasing.

Several things went bump in the night here!  Looks like it was in someone else's garden though.  The West Bay webcam makes interesting watching this morning for those not on the coast.  www.westbay.co.uk/webcam/lymebay.php

I’m glad the fronts slightly delayed from what it showed last night as I should be home before it arrives rather than getting soaked. Watch it break up before it gets here.

Yep - popped across for a coffee and told colleague it was about to chuck it down, and then it came! Like being in a car wash!
