22mm in Warminster. I noticed by radar watching for much of the day that the heaviest rain pulsed from the Bristol Channel across Somerset and began to weaken as it got to Wiltshire.

Lovely outside now ; no wind, no rain, not cold, no clear sky either though!

Wow missed all the rain here. And this area is renowned for being the wet side of the moor.  Just had fog and drizzle.

Shade over 10mm in the end here today.

Flooding is horrible, sorry for those who’ve had to deal with that today, it ruins absolutely everything in its path.

Interesting to see the rain off of the tip of Ireland is out of kilter with some models.

NetWx SR shows nothing affecting the SW, the Euro4 does.

Euro4 for midnight:                                   NetWx SR for 11pm

Certainly further north than forecasted. Guess that means more rain than expected overnight then. GFS barely has it touching the S Coast, that looks well out going by the latest radar.

That's strange. Their run-through graphic shows rain across Dorset and Hampshire, yet their app shows nothing noteworthy. However, their rainfall map on the app is also out compared to the radar.

Not seen a day quite this wet in a long time. Another miserable drive to work through all floods again in morning as if mondays are not bad enough :cray:

My outhouse is dripping wet too from the missing roof panel from the last storm we had too :wallbash:

Yes. Really didn’t anticipate it being quite this wet today. Plus more to come this week. Grim isn’t the word for it. This winter can b@gger off now, unless it can sort itself out, I don’t want to know anymore!

The temperature gradient is seriously impressive.  1C at 3pm with cold rain. Now 10 C.

That was certainly a rapid warm up.

Oh my goodness, it's actually stopped raining after what turned out to be a positively vile weekend weatherwise. I've got an old pond that I emptied and removed the liner from, yesterday it was very nearly full with water, a combination of what was falling and rising water levels in the ground, everything is absolutely saturated around here. Wouldn't want to be living on the Somerset levels this week, can see it causing problems again when all that rain filters down off these hills.

The yellow thing was in the sky with the blue colour here too but now it’s returned to its normal grey colour.

Yes, we are beginning to reach saturation, I noticed that in the garden yesterday, the water is certainly not running off now as it did in the previous weeks. Suspect by Friday we will begin to see some flood warnings as the water begins to move down from the hills.
