Only snowing in the heavier bursts and all the heavier showers are heading elsewhere. Looks like game over here. Roll on Sunday for the next let down!

Just starting to try to snow here with very small powder coming down at a sharp angle from NW. Not settling on anything, and only intermittent but radar looks promising...

Nothing here. Another non event it seems.

Ppn hasn't arrived yet the Cheshire gap looks promising so it's all about the temps wich are very marginal could go either way yet.

It's coming down pillows here, with occasional duvets...!

Starting to settle even on sodden tarmac of communal car-park.... I'm off out to the shops. I may be some time....

*strikes heroic pose, adds a second petticoat under the first, puts on big Russian fur hat and departs in a swirl of melodrama*

Happy to report heavy snowfall and thick white all surfaces. About an inch and a welcome surprise.

West Midlands has been the place to be this Winter

Sure has I was reading the North West thread and they were reporting mainly rain so I was worried. But nope snow lashing Down now. Have you seen the Radar it has sprung to life big time for West Mids.

Yes the Chesire Gap does wonders here.  Im not so bothered about snow depth etc  i just like to see it fall.  We had loads of that this year.  weve had minimal cover  medium cover  and a whopping  over the past few months   i expect more before winters out.    Brilliant

Well it wasn't that heavy here, it was very stop start, either my location had something to do with it, temp (which is currently 1.2c), or just plain elevation, as everything is soaking wet as there is no evidence of any snowfall.
