Sod all here again, next to nothing fell again, thats it now missed out again, my wolverhampton snowshield worked 100%, that really is it now for snow realistically for this winter.

Heaviest snow of the week bar tues/weds showers. Big flakes. Heading on for 2CM. Roads white over. Snow is wetter tonight.

Big flakes here just south of Loughborough,  all the bare patches covered already and with a temp of -1.5 not going overnight.

Just needs to keep going for another 40 minutes and I'll have seen falling snow every day this week.

Yes that's the spot. It felt mad over there in the dark, especially when those deer started running to keep up with me. Cheers

Sadly I must report a terrible casualty. My snow-measuring ruler is missing in action.

I suppose I must have dropped it somewhere, but a search with a torch around the garden has revealed nothing. This ruler did me proud this winter, seeing action at the Great December Event as well as this last week. Hope is not yet lost for this gallant plastic servant, and perhaps the thaw will reveal it safe and well. But for now, I can only salute the ruler's exemplary service in the Winter 2017/18 Campaign.

I'm wondering the same. All these reports of 'heavy snow' when the radar shows drizzle at best.

This snizzle isnt too bad at accumulating. Fresh 2cm from this.

Proper snow, at last. Actually sticking instead of being blown away by the wind.
