Warwickshire looks to be in prime position tonight. Enjoy! I think I should still get something here, but we'll see.

Yep. Zzzzzz. Until we get some real summer heat and thunderstorms. My second favourite type of weather. Some big April showers would be nice though.

You've been getting excited about the thaw since this easterly first appeared on the models! :p

I'm joking of course. Glad you've had a good event up there in Stafford. But looking like a postscript to this cold spell could come though here soon!

Fair enough. A new one at the moment would probably ruin the flow of this thread! :)

Particularly with what’s around the corner ❄️?

Yep

It should settle easily now as the temperature here has just fallen to  0.0C. Dew point -1.3C.

20minutes I guess... tick tock, tick tock... Oh Ok, I'll put the kettle on.

Anything extreme :D I like my winters cold and snowy, and my summers hot and thundery. Don't like anything mundane or wet and windy*.

*Would like to experience a hurricane though, and like wet and windy if it's from thunderstorms.

Problem it's having holes punched in it, and is weakening as soon as it sees the west mids conurbation.

Snowing here! 3rd day in a row!

50p flakes settling on wet ground that I cleared earlier...

Been on evening shifts. I'm a controller/driver at the Metro. Been horrendous at work, standing out in the cold manually moving points because they were frozen to allow the trams to pass. Trying to hold trams by radio to the drivers and keep them spaced out safely when various parts of the infrastructure freezes and fails. We've suffered pretty bad delays but proud we managed to keep trams running and got people home both on Thursday and Friday night.
