Has been a memorable week in the Worcester area. Heavy snow showers Tuesday and Wednesday left a covering. Bitterly cold air late Wednesday followed by a real blizzard yesterday intensifying overnight.Difficult to say how much fell as there was a lot of drifting 2 foot drifts in suburban streets, unreal. Today being the icing on the cake still coming down now. Awesome for a low lying city.

If the stuff north of London remain at the same intensity, all of us around the West Midlands will get another really good dumping as its heading straight for us :)

I do love the way my chap now draws the curtains to leave a six inch gap in exactly the correct place for me to be able to see the two lamp-posts along the street... <3 Bless him, he understands...

Radar seems to have more of an east to west component, so ppm over London might be a player for some surprise additions tonight?

I drove there this morning, you've had it much worse than here. Dread to think what it's like now. Reports on radio of roads completely impassable.

Blowing a gale here,  light snow but still drifting.

Eased off for an hour but now getting heavy again. There are 2 foot drifts in places and about 10cm has fallen so far. This winter has been epic.

I think this could go on for while yet, might fade and fire back up but this is not done yet surely? Still coming down here.  Probably just jinxed it:hi:

Spoke to soon like a blizzard now. Dangerous condition's, wouldn't surprise me if rural community's south of here are cut off come morning.

Yep i would say another 2 hours of heavy snow. Then patchy light stuff. Reckon 15cm will be hit by the morning.

Is Stoke the only place to miss out all week? It feels like it :sorry: My Facebook is full of snowy photos from all my friends and family across the UK. How ironic that the coldest and most snowy spell for the UK in years is the worst of the winter here.
