Even though we have been in some of the heavier echoes for over an hour, there's barely half a CM of extra accumulation.

Given the band is on it's last legs according to radar, bar the odd area, you can see why not a lot was made of this.

Can we get anymore tomorrow? Eyes on next weekend.

I'm treating this as the last snow of this season and in the UK, who knows how long - so I'm going to enjoy it, light or heavy and have a walk in it later!

because of the wind

Still it comes down. Like Narnia out there now. Must have had a good 8 cms. In the sweet spot for once just outside Wolvo. Downside is I think Wolves game may be off.

Would you kindly point out what you mean by "the energy south again" ? And how it'll intensify the band ?

The showers popping up over the south coast will catch up with this band and reintensify the back edge. At least that's my thinking :pardon:

Just had the old fashion ruler our for measurment in the back garden have hit the magical 10cms here in coventry. Thats 2 proper snow events this winter one in december we had 15cms and one yesterday/today...

Edit-met now forecasting heavier snow for 10pm later for a few hours i thought looking at the radar everything dying out??

Its dying out big time now. Perhaps the last meaningful falls this winter could be over by 7pm. Has added about 5 6cms i think to what was a patchy covering before hand.

Is it me or does the snow seem wet?

Doesnt look that much and we have been under green echoes for a long while here. Il admit i havent measured just looking out the window. Some drifts were about 8 to 10cms before today so could still look good tomoz.

no, not wet, powdery, partly why it's being blown around

Still coming down well, drifting about in the wind and we are getting a covering.

No complaints!

It seems a little wetter but not much, as on Wednesday it just fell out of my hand when I tried to make a snowball earlier I managed to make one. But its still dry enough to blow around.

Roads out there are terrible. Reports coming in now of cars stuck all around worcester. Thank Christ I’m home having a beer ☃️?. Must have   had between 5-8 cm extra this afternoon.

Garden untouched so going to get a proper depth in the morning!!
