Last few dregs of the system leaving Oxford now. Still, has left a nice covering here. Going to take some photos of it when I go to the shop in a minute.

edit - dropped back to -1c here!! Still coming down, proper flakes unlike the powdery stuff yesterday.  Get in!:yahoo:

Yes maybe that was a bit premature. It's coming down nicely for once!

Careful folks Met have a warning out for snow and ice in the English channel. Take it steady on the boats or you'll slide all over the place, maybe crash into a large wave...

Wonder of this will affect the Leicester vs Bournemouth game tomorrow. Meant to be travelling up from Oxford for it but if this stalls and gives Leicester a good 4-6 hours of snow, it may be enough for them to call it off because of the state of the roads around the ground! The pitch itself has under soil heating but I bet the roads will be chaos in the morning.

So interesting for east midlanders, Hirlam has the snow dieing off a little in the east by 8pm, only to pep back up after 10pm. Probably not a 100% accurate and it isn't something that appears on the Arpege, but interesting never the less. Hirlam has been good this week...

I'm hoping it will still go ahead. Going to need to wrap up warm though!

Are you a STH?

The band is literally 2 miles to my south, this is a joke.

It must have got to you by now, it's coming down well here now albeit tiny flakes.

I go with my son. Had a ST for years and years but gave it up around 2004. Managed to get two ST among the last to go on sale when we got promoted! Been a whirlwind few years.

Horrendous out there, I think the front is going to stall now tbh and just pivot around until it fizzles out, just my thoughts though, if it does 15cm is easily achievable
