i should add 10cms falling and settling may be hard to tell given the wind though with it blowing around again

If thats on the money then given the snowfall now some places could be close to 10cms

I think easily 10cm the way it’s coming down

Still nothing.

Same Every event every day been on the very edge or in the light stuff. Rubbish this week has been so far. The Northerly showers in December we're better.

Here are some of the drifts from the road behind my house. It’s a screenshot of a video I took but can’t upload it

I remember a few years ago the parking sign on the other side of the road was completly covered. Its about 6 or 7 foot high.

Ill try and find the pic

Yep shows moderate snowfall for many with the odd heavy burst.

Arpage showing similar movement by 9pm

maybe not quite as bullish as the Hirlam model on amounts by then, but as ever radar/lamp post watch is best now-models just for an idea.

Looking pretty decent so far though.-and i have doubled by snow cover to 2cms already!

Absolutely throwing it down here, but with tiny flakes, so the cover on the previously-bare car roofs etc is only just over 1 cm. Still, everything looks white now! Temp down to -2.0 °C.

This is my back garden right now. Snow drift has over topped the garden wall.

That lot out in the Irish sea has sat there forever....if only that was above us trust me we wouldn't be seeing the tops of our cars :D

BBC forecasts keep saying "to the high ground in the West were expecting 10-15cms from this band of snow"

Looking at the radar im not so sure the West is going to get that.

I wouldn't be surprised at 15cm if it keeps going like this for the next couple of hours
