Very remeniscent of March 2013, when everywhere in every direction was buried and we had next to nothing.

Pathetic light stuff has stopped now in burton and the heavy green blob is going to miss and get stoke. Lol

About 3cms have fallen so far. This has done more damage than 15 hours of Continental Talcum powder that fell yesterday lol. Good old British snow. Loads more to come. :yahoo:

Keep the faith, still plenty of time for this to edge further northwards! No reason why pretty the whole of the Midlands shouldn't see some of the action by this evening :)

Nothing much here. Heavy stuff just south of Tamworth so may get lucky in a bit.

Current state of play here in Oxford... Been snowing lightly-moderately for around an hour and a half now.

Massive flakes have suddenly appeared here now,

They seem to have a bit more water in them as they are coming straight  down.

Temperature continues to fall down to -2.0C, and the dew point rises slightly to -4.2C.Possibly reflecting the different air mass now arriving with the mixing out of the very cold Siberian air-mass.

Extremely heavy, and very pretty.

Been snowing lightly in TF3 Telford for the last hour, light but getting heavier and hasn't stopped at all.

According to the radar it is snowing lightly but as yet there is nothing actually falling. It is so close now, I am just willing it a few miles north.
