Wouldn't get your hopes up, I have dark blue and even a spot of green right over me at the moment on radar and nothing has fallen from the sky..:-(

It can actually take 10 to 20 minutes for the snow to reach the ground :)

Radar continues to explode into life south of us!!!

Yes, just took a sneaky peek at radar.  Really is picking up down South.   Not going to look anymore, you know 'watched pot never boils' etc...:nonono:

Hope all across Mids see some snow later :)

Aside from our region have people ran the radar loop and looked at Ireland! They will easily see over 50cms i would have thought

Yep, there will be some insane totals there today. The radar returns seem quite strange though, the ppn seems to go from intense to non existent within 5 miles.

should be seeing the first flakes here soon.

disappointingly, the temps here are at +0.4'c , so a slow thaw has set in and cleared 50% of the tiny snow cover we had.

Fingers crossed we get a good amount today, but I won't hold my breath

Kent and SE having freezing rain with the developing system over France and the Channel, which I think is the one forecast for us later on.

All trains have had to cease around and to the coast. (mta 12:00).

The temps down there  are 0 to -2C so it must be pretty bad.

It does however then turn to snow,so we should be OK.

Snow just started here! (Droitwich)

Proper flakes not like yesterday. Annoyingly the heavier band on the radar is just E/NE of me so anyone in Redditch or Studley should be seeing something more significant...
