Moons out over Hinckley so the sky's clearing. Snow has just about stopped now

Yup that could be that for here unless things pick up. Relatively poor spell so far barring the snow drifting down the road.

I’m only in Halesowen, it may not be giving snow depth, but it’s sure causing major problems, my street is now blocked and Stourbridge road is stationary in both directions

Very similar here in Bewdley. I'd guess at an average depth of 3-4cm, but cars are only getting up the local roads at 10 mph or so at best. I worry that tomorrow morning, people are going to look outside, think "Ah, not much snow, it'll be fine", get in their cars and set off normally... and very quickly end up in trouble. :(

Stourbridge Road/Drews Holloway always bad in weather like this, Mucklow Hill and Furnace Hill also stuff, everywhere out of Halesowen either up or down a hill

I live just by Drew’s Holloway, I’m going nowhere tomorrow regardless of what falls overnight, it’s lethal as it is!

Cuz I’m on a hill here I can’t really see how bad it actually is as it just blows straight off the road, apart from large patches the road here is fairly clear but there are drifts of around a foot lol

When I look at the radar all the yellows are gradually moving west, I think at best we may get some green but it’s pretty much been blue the whole time imo here

Imagine if they were the actual snow colours ?

Almost certainly the right decision :) Whilst the snow might not get particularly deep the ice and the drifts aint gonna get better, if you dont need too dont bother

Does the ecm look good for snow tomorow for us still?

Yeah. A good few inches. It has been very consistent.

Just seen the BBC Midlands Today forecast. 2-5 cm widely. I would take the 2 cm at this stage. Been such a disapppointing and frustrating week for snow here.

So attention turns towards tomorrow now then....let's see what the 18z says.

Both the BBC forecasts (local and national) seemed quite bullished of 2-5CM widespread tomorrow evening...let's see.

See that area just northwest of Northampton that keeps breaking up even though it’s pink all around? Guess where I am!

The wind still really impressive which means I can pretend is snow falling but is just blowing snow. The radar hole keeps getting worse for this area. The Peaks are getting battered still just slightly north.

It is so quiet on the roads tonight here, yet I see gridlock across Birmingham.

Radar looks crap unless I am mistaken.

Nope, you're not mistaken, it is useless, those warnings should be taken down now, heavy snow is just not going to happen. Also the BBC forecast shows heavy snow showers after 1am all the way to 11am, then light snow again from 1pm all day and evening, it's comical really, these forecasters should take up careers as comedians.
