If only I didn;t have a stinking cold that I just can't seem to shift - particularly a killer cough - I might be enjoying this .....  Oh, what the hell, despite having a stinking cold that I just can't seem to shift - particularly a killer cough - I am going to enjoy this  :D

I knew it from many hours ago that front was moving in a different direction than forecasted to.

It makes the met office look rather silly yet again

So Leicestershire not included in the amber warning then , typical! It is hammering it down though, small flakes.  So not all bad

my feeling, we are so central we miss it when it’s north south east or west! But because we are central we are so often teased by all the fronts!

Level I'm going to say 2cm, drifting to maybe 6cm in places now.

It seems very localised in the Midlands.  Fingers crossed for overnight.

You have my sympathy, i had acute bronchitis during the early December cold spell, I’ve never hated cold & snow so much as then!

You get bits of everything but all of nothing!

Mind, it's often the same down here.   Hopefully not this time :)

we've had this type of snow before, and got a foot from it. it's unusual for here to get bigger flakes in big snowfalls

Bitter and very windy out, really nasty conditions out there.  Again, not huge amounts of snowfall but high winds and bitterly cold.
