Possibly heavier snow showers in Worcester within the hour then perhaps in the Black Country by 3pm looking at the radar.

Or even 2pm for the first band.

Here we are at theoretically the warmest time of the day..

Temp -4.0...DP -8.7C,  Wind-chill   -12.1C  with 10Kmh East wing and constant light snow bordering moderate snow at times.

Whats not to like about it?

More or less stopped here now and that looks like it for a while. Unexpected bonus this morning though!

Exactly! And within the next 3 months or so we may well record our first 25°C temperature of 2018 - that's what I love about the UK weather, the contrasts and the unpredictability :good:

snowing all morning, bonus really, but now just a few flakes, think just few flurries rest of day, red warning for SW/Wales perhaps a disadvantage for a snowfest

More snow on our lawn than anywhere, sheltered from the wind from no drifting.

Serious wind now with blizzards.

Whatever else happens, this is going to be one of the coldest (meteorological) spring days ever recorded -- an ice day looks a near-certainty. Max so far here is -3.4 °C. At lunchtime. In March. Even if the snow amounts to very little for many of us, today will be truly exceptional for that reason alone.

Snow is starting to pick up now in Worcester along with strengthening winds, the temperature has now fallen in the past hour from -3.1c to currently -3.8c. Lets see what this evening brings however i fear that the heavy snow will be way out west but you never know.

so far happy with this event, around 6cms in places, but it's so windy, not much in other places, not as effective as 10 Dec, as cover not as complete due to the wind

main band is way off to the SW at the moment, we getting flurries ahead of it now, similar to 17th Jan '13

6cm!! That's great considering we have 1-2cm in places at best, the grass isn't fully covered.
