Not a sausage here in Polesworthbut it’s so cold and windy and my boiler’s still knackered. It’s going to be a long day.

Moderate snowfall here now but it's blowing about so much in the gale I don't know where it's settling - it never seems to get deeper on the ground!

It can't keep dodging us mate we are literally surrounded. Light snow here still.

All that hot air coming out of Molineux is reinforcing the yam yam snow shield.

Euro4 is supposedly better than Arpege on Hirlam.. Except when it's not, this is for 9am this morning. It's absolutely correct other than the huge mass of precipitation over southern england which it can't see :D

Met Office has us down for no snow....

* looks out of window*

Its snowing here.

Not sure i have seen all the forecasts so inconsistent in message for a long time. Ditto the above. Steady light snow in Hinckley for last hour or so. It makes it very difficult when trying to make decisions for business opening/ staff movements etc. In the end i have taken a cautious route today partly based on the info from this forum!

You're not alone... :wallbash::sorry:

If Hirlam and Arpege are to be believed (and they've been on the money so far this morning, if a little behind) then the gap will close in the next hour or two, and heavier stuff will make it's way up into the gap over the course of the day.

Yep, I really do give up, we must be inside the only triangle in the UK not to get more than a dusting.

Same here really with only a thin covering on the ground and the grass isn't even completely submerged. Still snowing lightly though. Hopefully those bands merge to pep things up more.

Heavy heavy snow still pouring down- well blowing around might be a better description!

This is quite an exceptional event in my opinion for many parts of the country!

Yh we are bang out of luck here already calling time for West Mids missing us to our West just. Even the showers look light. Good luck South Mids.
