Unfortunately I think it just won’t be cold enough here. Cold rain maybe a bit of sleet is all I’m expecting, would love to be wrong though

I'm not so sure shaky, I wouldn't get your hopes up. It's better to be pleasantly surprised than let down!

Still some snow cover but a lot has melted :sorry:

Ay, time of year melted it, could be our last snow too at least for February, models though at least suggesting things settling down after Thursday, but settled weather tends to downgrade

Think the peaks might do well but tomorrow for snow hopes looks like a non starter. Temps and dp to warm and show Rain, all models pretty much show Rain, Met and beep show Rain. So the Towell has been thrown into the ring we lucked out this time but still a great Winter overall.

Just a miserable raw wet day today I’m afraid

That was the brightest 'red sky at morning' I've seen for years, maybe it's a sign for later on today? there are some pretty cold upper moving back in with this front?

Not saying there'll be a lot, just that I think we'll still get a bit of back edge snow

Can't see it if anything the beep are more convinced of all rain this morning. Such a shame because this would have been heavy snow. Seems the cold uppers will arive to late hope they are wrong though. But the rain bashing of my window unfortunately says this time they are right.

I'm not hugely hopeful, but we seem to have had more good surprises than bad so far this winter :-D

That is true and surely even the UK can't mess up a major SSW attack to give us more Snow chances for the end of Feb. But today looks a bust. Although the radar showed some snow in Ireland that wasn't forecast.

Light sleet here. It could just about be classed as wet snow at 350 m. Temp' is 1.8c.
