Nice. I had some Christmas pudding after tea earlier, it's almost like Christmas :D

Dusting here also but later looks better for some showers. Tuesday slight upgrade but still marginal now at 15 days of falling snow not bad.

Indeed, shaky! Does look a touch snowier for the Midlands on that GFS 18Z! ❄️

I know they aren’t the most accurate charts in the universe, but just a comparison between the two at 12pm, Tuesday:

It's coming down so heavy now you can see it without the aid of a lamppost.

Just a dusting here - think it’s mostly streaming to the North of us ?

Was thinking the same thing! Snow shield seems to be recovering.

January last year brought a better streamer here. Delivered several inches of snow. Was pure slop by the next morning though, whereas this should all freeze tonight.

Na. I would have been in London then. Can't remember it, so it was probably rain down there as usual haha.

I think it would be fair to say that the North-Westerlies this Winter have generally been more wintrier and potent compared to those of the last few years or so, especially for lower level areas of the Midlands!

I think, however, I remember a North-Westerly in February 2012 that brought -10*C 850 hpa temperatures over the Midlands on one of the days that month with scattered heavy snow showers overnight.

That North Westerly back in December was the coldest and snowiest I have seen in my lifetime. Used to hate north westerlies. They do nothing for London.

What depths do we have in Stoke. I'm in Amsterdam where we had snow Friday but it's been brutally cold in the wind but face temp was 5c. It doesn't feel like that for sure!
