Met Office and BBC showing snow showers right across the Midlands tomorrow. Heavy and persistent here. They must think it will be unstable enough for showers to survive the Welsh mountains.

BBC said snow widely on Tuesday. Settling to low levels.

Then showed snow on Wednesday but turning to rain through the day.

Cold NW winds continuing after that.

Like the sound of that

Euro4 shows most parts of Midlands missing out on snow. Arpege doesn't look great either

Nicely aligned for us here in Stoke, but the last couple of weeks have seen a few promising set-ups fail, so I'll wait & see what falls from the sky...if anything.

18z turns Tuesday's front to snow earlier. It also pushes snow showers further south tomorrow. Just a shame it's snow charts are normally way overdone.

Seems realistic, Stockport in prime position, then ESE direction

Tuesday may produce back edge snow, just like 4 years practically to the day, virtually same setup and same time and day

Been blowing a hoolie here for the last couple of hours. A strong gust took out my wheelie bin about an hour ago.

Same here. Showers showing just to the North, already sleet & snow on the hills, not quite the right wind direction for us yet. Will be interesting to see what I wake up to in the morning...or maybe not.

Yes, the same here P.M. Half an hour ago there was no lying snow but a heavy snow shower since 0745 has put down between 1 and 2cm.

A few flakes in the wind here just north of Derby. But I feel I'm just a bit to far south of the main action. Also the ground is very wet,so I doubt any snow would settle should it fall.

Dosent look good for the Midlands today showers are dying out. Tuesday is on a knife edge and most likely a bit of back edge snow after getting soaked. Let's hope Villa beat Bham then it will still be a gd day lol. :girl_devil:

Dry and sunny here, 2c currently. Beeb  app says should be 4c and meto say 2c. Also meto says snow later bbc says no.... big differences between the two.:nonono:

radar shows showers are not organised at the moment so nothing really to be expected, so anything falling is bonus! Good luck for later today!:)

Clear blue sky herewith a temperature of 2.7C, and dew point of -1,8C, so any showers should be wintry at least.

Can see a line of anvils way to the North, but otherwise no clouds at all.

Cannot see much in the way of showers around here today.

There that should do it :D.

Snow showers now lining up to hit North Staffordshire in the next couple of hours. It's only around 1 degrees and not expected to rise much if at all. Just a few metres below the 150 m but surely any snow will settle with the air temperature that low.
