A few fakes from the NNE gave a slight covering, ahead of the main front, around 07:00..

Looks as if some moisture has caught up in front of the decaying trough..

I saw 2 flakes fall at 08:30.

Temp of 0.6C with a dew point at -2.1C

Bring on the front!

This band is starting to fragment now, never mind the mod thread will defiantly swear gospel a cold spell is on its way again soon...... this cold spell has produced 2 nights at 0c and a sugar dusting of snow thank god for my thermals :-)

Way above zero?! Really?!

1C and light snow again here, but just been to Telford and it was 3C there with no sign of snow at all, not even on the Wrekin. Still bits of this morning's dusting in places but nothing added to it as yet, it's still very light.

Light snow all morning here but honestly you are not missing anything all melting on impact truth be told it may as well be raining.

Flurrying for half hour, front is too weak though, as forecast, but if it was rain, would be the opposite

Eh? I've seen many fronts in all seasons fizzle as they move down from the North West as they come against high pressure. Its irrelevant what's in them. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you are using Murphy's law as your reference rather than any scientific law.

You are right about the forecast though, sadly it has been pretty good.

Been snowing steadily the past couple of hours but not settling despite air temp, dew point and surfaces temp all being below freezing. How is that possible?

A pathetic event. At least the outlook is generally cold, with the chance of it turning very cold later in the month. Should be more snow opportunities.

Its not great granted  Rdar very fragmented.  However some areas are starting to pep up a little    better than rain.
