Snowing heavily now in Birmingham. Radar looking great for the Midlands....

Could it be a low forming at the point of inflexion? (I mean the T piece in the fronts).

Also people in Bedfordshire/Surrey area are reporting  ESE winds and as already mentioned the temp is falling in the SE..

Its turned very fine and a little sleetyish now  here.

Temp still at+0.5C and dp at -0.4C.

Ours is now veering intermittently to SE - the window faces south, and there are occasional flurries landing across the glass... mostly easterly, though, I reckon.

Very heavy snow here in Oldbury. Roads are completely gone. As has been said Radar looks excellent for a few hours yet. A true winter postcard scene out there.

Coming down quite heavily here, even settling on the roads!  I'll enjoy it whilst it lasts!  6th time I've seen snow falling this winter which is more than the last three put together so I have nothing to complain about really!

The Netweather Radar looks different to the Weather.com radar. On Weather.com looks like rain incoming into Walsall/Birmingham very soon

In the blink of an eye it’s gone from really heavy snow to rain!! Can still see snow in the sky lol
