That is a work of art and possibly the chart of the season......in my humble opinion!

It certainly is. Worth framing and hanging on wall ?

Do you have to quote the whole post??? It is not very helpful when reading on an iPhone, dont wish to be rude.

Indeed, but I discovered recently that you can click the down arrow on the quoted post to collapse the post!

Scandi high 5mb lower at 84 hours and not as strong this run!!might not mean much maybe!!

More importantly the high has backed east so the really cold uppers have been pushed back with it (At least for the weekend)

Was awaiting this response as we evolve.

As the 850s and align evolve its likely mods will switch by micro -dynamics..

That heights form is much better short medium term...for the swerve and allow of incur-east...

Gfs 12z shows snow mainly over high ground and in north east on the supposed battleground scenario on Saturday. Rain and maybe sleet at lower levels

It shows some back edge snow I’d say for many potentially even in the SE. It’s not a battleground scenario...

The second was a bit sleety, but the first shower seemed to be all snow, if the more grainy variety, point is shouldn't conditions be even more conducive come Saturday than today anyway?

Takes a little longer to mix out the mild sector (all down to that slight shift east earlier) But its looking good , more so for the south that shouldn't see a mild sector at all

I’d say this is the best chart of the winter within a reasonably modest timeframe.
