Wifey says 7 inches at home...I say aye right. Still, genuinely think I might have an issue getting home later.

If she's saying 7 inches it's probably 10

That last load of showers topped us up nicely. Just shy of five inches now :) Funny to see it sparkling as it came down too - now at -1.1C

SS needs to post a GFS chart and a picture of his picnic bench saying how great the GFS was at picking out an extraordinary event far out and GFS is king.... that should do it

I'll wait until the morn when the bench has had an overnight top-up. :whistling:

Still coming down here, I need to take the tape measure out in the morning. Hubby keeps clearing the path and the snow keeps covering it again. I'm thinking of hiring him out to anybody who wants mair snaw.

Friend of mines reported seeing thundersnow in Motherwell back of 4 today.  Lull just now but out west looks tasty.

Can confirm seeing/hearing this in Glasgow about 4:30.

Pleased though I am to see all these reports/photos it’s a tough evening to be snowless yet again! :sorry:  I know the Aberdeenshire contingent missed out this time, but I’m not feeling sorry for them, they see plenty of snow. :D Do we know if @aggy or any of the coastal Ayrshire contingent got snow?

weve not all missed out in Aberdeenshire. a few showers made it thru and I got one of them. ive enjoyed seeing every bodies pictures its great to see such a large part of the country getting in on the fun and games. tomorrow night and Thursday morning not sorted yet as they still say the storm could go a bit north or south so still some fun to be for many I think.
