Looks like a fair bit has fallen overnight although not convinced we saw  as much as Edinburgh itself. Hard to tell with drifting but looks a lot! Just measured 27cm level so looks like 4-5cm overnight! Drifts easily 1.5-2ft deep in places.

That ended up respectable then. Difficult to gauge here in central Broughty Ferry, probably about 5-6cm but there’s nowhere undisturbed that I can accurately measure...wind has been epic throughout!

Yes not easy to get the average. My back is quite sheltered but even there it went from 12 cms to over 20cms in bits. Snow has drifted in the front which is exposed. More falling now.

Reporting in @Hawesy, such a direct easterly is pretty hopeless for here, needed more NE-erly direction, so a totty 8 to 10 cm of very blown cover. Currently snowing and cold though, not above -8c since afternoon yesterday. Further north of Inverness, Tain/Lairg etc has taken a hammering from streamers.

You guys in the south/south east Scotland aren't done yet, think I heard a forecaster say up to 30cm more for some areas over next 48hrs

Further slight snow accumulation overnight.  The showers are now pepping up with more on the way, it seems. Temp -6C on the patio and a very gusty wind.

Took doggie for a "trip" round the garden earlier, fire on and now enjoying a warming bowl of porridge. I'll be staying put today, I think.

On a sad note, I found a wee perished Siskin lying on the patio yesterday.  A reminder to keep feeders topped up. I'm going to have a bash at concocting a "heated" water bowl later on....:D

We got hammered here overnight.   Was up at 2am and couldn't see across the road it was snowing so hard.   Lightning every few seconds too.

Drifts everywhere, impossible to measure depth, but it is considerable.   Drift halfway up the back door!

Above and beyond @Hawesy. Can't define any more than that i'm afraid!

Is @mardatha ok??

-5C and dry as a bone here.

Love the pics. Be good if folk find time in the coming weeks to put them in the Scottish winter photo thread too.

Exact same here at 2am. Currently chucking it down. Intensity way better than yesterday.
