Me too - there's been a streamer no more than 2 miles to the north of here yet no more than a few flakes have reached the ground since 12.30pm. There's a lot of bright echoes in that stream and it does look very promising so here's hoping!

I can see the same band but looking South. It doesn't look too far away from this side either and we are getting a few flurries from it.

Here, not far from the west coast we were told by the BBC (I didn’t listen to it btw) to expect 1 or 2 showers during the day but mainly dry. It was partly right in that we have had about 4 showers max today although it a shame that the current shower started over 2 hours ago?

Are my eyes deceiving me or is the activity to the south of us moving slightly  north now?

Bang on with that, as above, just started snowing in Thornton. Glenrothes still visible :D

That is what I’m trying to work out. Tried to rewind the radar but I’m still clueless.

So frustrating eh?  Looking at the radar there does seem to be a lovely dark red blob that is better placed to give us a doing.

I even went out to clear the driveway and road to goad the snaw gods a wee bit and encourage them to whump us!

Haha exactly. Smack bang in the middle of the first red warning in years and it’s like a summers day. Maybe later though...

A friend told my wife that their insurance policy has an exclusion for accidents if travelling in a red warning area. Don't know if she is correct and can't see it on our policy but something to bear in mind perhaps if driving in the red area.
