Hi Tim, just saw your location.....if you don’t remove the ‘Perth: least snowiest place in Scotland’ description me and @aggy will see you in court.

I'm in the town, and nothing here either :(

Tim

I’m at Tibbermore, the clouds are rolling in and small flakes are appearing in the wind! Hopefully this is the start of a decent flurry at least ?

If LSS is right, then the shedload that's heading towards Edo should hit us both then.... fingers crossed :)

Lolz winds me right up charging for a bag for takeaway food....I'd like to see them hand me all my food for a family of 6 without a bag

What irritates me is that they're paper bags and the 5p charge (which I agree with) was for plastic bags. Also they happily chuck in a free (and usually dire) plastic toy for free. Not that we go there as often as the kids would like.

Despite being rather disappointed thus far (2cm on the ground) I'm looking forward to see what overnight and tomorrow brings! Plenty of opportunity ahead :)

Here's an alternative snow covered bench for you all from snowy Durham, had to take a screenshot as it wouldn't upload

Not sure if you are allowed to post here screenshots from other weather sites.  Anyway, have a look at the precipitation radar for the North Sea at this link...

https://en.sat24.com/en/gb/rainTMC

That is one huge "streamer" of snow currently forming in the North Sea between Denmark and SW Norway - should produce some impressive snow totals when that hits the east coast.

There's just been a bit too much of a northerly component this evening for you folks. I wouldn't be too worried though - the temperature's absolutely perfect (-3C) and once the wind direction shifts due east the showers will be streaming down the Tay direct to your house I'm sure:D

I’ll be showing everyone at my work this tomorrow.....or hopefully not because I’ll be snowed in ?

Yeah...been very little here to add to the 2 or 3 good coastal hits we had here 4 or 5 hours ago. To be honest I'd happily roll the dice on a subtle change of wind direction or flow, currently the lack of snaw activity around a radius of Edinburgh is pretty dispiriting.

Stay at home (or away from home lol)

I'll see what happens tomorrow, not taking the transport ministers word for it, he's never viewed the GFS or EURO4 in his life

Looks like a big snow missile heading for Fife :)

I am not saying it's wrong....far from it. Just that bosses of pvt companies will not share the same view.

Showers now looking to be coming in more directly E-W?

Seems to be the case over the last hour or so.

Was tracking a blob that I thought would pass south of me but it's not about to hit me directly from the E.

It appears the wind is veering to more of a straight easterly. Perth should see more snow showers from now. Some red now appearing on the radar in the showers in the North Sea.
