Shouldn't matter too much. You just need more of it falling for a bit longer. Coming together gradually on this side of town.

Looks like Leith is going OK so far. Only a light covering up here so far.

Yeah it is lying now to be fair, especially on the grassy areas.

Couple of direct hits does the job. Hopefully more, bigger, heavier, longer-lasting radar blobs to come all our ways.

Fingers crossed :D Nice to get a light covering back down as the sun made light work of this mornings snow!

Another heavy shower just stopped and blue sky back. It doesn't feel all that cold to me, more damp but the snow is lying. Total now according to hubby a wee bit over 5cms. (he found the cms bit on the tape measure!)

Had a few showers pass through but anything that's lay has soon gone.  Very little at the moment but have a keen eye East, would appear that anything which hits Edinburgh gets here.

Nothing at all the south side of Aberdeen just yet.   Some pretty ominous looking clouds beginning to appear off the coast though.    The snow symbols on the met office for my area appear to be changing almost by the minute.  Must be a nightmare for forecasters at the moment.

Doesn’t sound too severe a forecast certainly not enough to warrent a red warning ⚠️

Heavy snow shower just rolled through Aberdeen, even down at the Harbour area. Settling readily.

To be fair it's only hesaid yousaid the transport minister that's saying it might be a red warning. Maybe a politician in  covering their arses shocker

Tanking down here at the moment.   Fine powder variety that is so heavy, it looks like fog!

Heavier and more frequent showers now piling in across Dundee city centre. Settling more now as well. Looks like things are just starting to get warmed up/cooled down!
