Oh look who gets zippo from that projection

Want to borrow a snowblower?:D

Nah....Your area was well and truly covered in the last forecast I saw.   If you ask me, Euro 4 looks a bit tame?   (I hope!)

We'll get sweet fanny adams off a straight easterly. I'm just looking for some ice days but that's a long shot too I think.

On up here too now. Fairly heavy and settling quickly. Good sign for later :)

Edit: Over as quick as it started

Back on here properly now. From the look of the radar it will be one shower after another from here on in.

Then a total dumping tomorrow into thursday.

Then back to regular showers for the weekend.

If I can still see oot the windaes by that point.

Few wee snow showers here today. Ground drying up between each one. Bit nippy out ? Today I am mainly staring at the snow radar willing the pink blobs up the Forth.

Snow shower in St Andrews, fluffy flakes but not settling. I remember some idiot talking about wet baw temperature and I’m afraid he may have been right. I expect that to change later on. :D

Reckon they would only bring out a red for snow if they were expecting 10inch + in or near a heavily populated area.

Come on Met Office .... you know you want to ..... time for a cheeky wee red warning for tomorrow surely

I think it will come tonight. The fact that it coincides with both rush hours tomorrow aswell, bound to happen. Wouldn't be surprised if they announce later today that the schools are closed tomorrow as a preemptive measure

I think it's quite possible as there will be pretty significant disruption across the central belt tomorrow. The red warnings seem to be reserved for the most populous areas. London had a red warning for about 5 cms of snow a few years back. The amount of snow is not really what warrants a red warning I believe but it's the disruption expected and the central belt should should warrant one because there's going to be a lot of snow and it will cause havoc on such a populated area with some of the busiest motorways in the UK.
