A old 2007 with a 2.5 deisel engine with a whopping 178000 miles on the clock and the light on top its a old windfarm hand down its never let me down no matter the weather as tough as old boots they say engine is getting a bit noisey  now

They are becoming v popular.. tho after having one for 6 months it was long enough.  the Automatic is a much better drive.

Borders/dumfries peeps are in the sweet spot tonight surely, if things stall you're buried ? Not so much the case here, we've had a wee covering but think most of the precipitation will have gone east within a couple of hrs. Tomorrow looks more promising. Look forward to the pics in the morn

It wont be long now before it turns to snaw its even snawing at my mums at 196m now patience

Aye. Weather station got it spot on. DP just hit zero, I read your post, put the dugs oot briefly and...

Gairdin halogen confirms snaw has arrived.

You can literally watch big fat flakes taking over from the pish. :good:

EDIT. Wet blizzard already.

The older ones are easier to drive, I reckon. And a bit smaller and lighter. I had an FC one for about a year, 10 years ago - unstoppable in the snow with AT tyres. Happy days.

I do a lot of pulling and carrying stuff in mine and it does a great job for that my last was a navara which couldnt pull a penny and it also halved in two i will have no problem getting another ranger in due course

Proper snow here now, snowing moderately and settling on cars and grass, just a touch wet still for the roads and pavements though

Starting to stick on the lawn. Ground still a bit slushy though.

EDIT

Good to see folk getting snow :)

It didn’t come to much here, I guess I was too far west. Looking forward to the next few days, plenty of snow potential and with the GFS continuing to show charts like below then we could be in for a really memorable winter :)

Not at home tonight but the rain has turned to heavy, wet snow here in Coldingham where we are staying with friends. Right on the coast so more than I was expecting. Not settling yet but who knows :)

Just looked out and it's completely white with heavy snow falling. Must have turned to snow really quickly in the last hour.
