So is Friday a bust for the north ? In work so can’t check anything. I see met office still have s warning but I take it they are in process of removing it.

And I'm back in the room...

Apparently there is heavy snow in Carryduff, maybe 3 cm from that localised line of streamers moving up the M1.

Friday looks a bust I'm afraid but you never know.

Warning still in place but says highest accumulations for Wales England of 5 to 10cm, they're under same warning. Looks a bust for the north tbh.

Seen the pics on Facebook of M1 heading toward some Lisburn. Looks like a whiteout. So close yet sun splitting trees here in Mallusk. Had a snow shower for about 20mins. All gone and dry now. Lay for a bit but all dried out now. Whyyy lol? Either side of me but nothing here ??

Total bust for this specific area lol

Irish government basically telling everybody to be home tomorrow by 4PM and to not go outside due to blizzard like conditions.. Mmm we'll see. Almost sounded like an order.

Wish we were getting orders up here like that!

I'm resigned to not getting any snow over the next couple of days. My main disappointment now is that the low temps are wasted. For once we get the low temps this far West but no sudden onslaught from the atlantic. Would have loved a quick blast from the west to finish off!

That trough off the North coast looks a right waste.

Showers have died off for now, hope that's not it.

Anybody else under the streamer running through the middle of the country? It's snowing in Omagh this past hour and more on the way!

South Belfast/Carryduff area was under it moving up the M1 to you. Mrs is having to walk to school to pick up kids as can't get out of road because a van has blocked it by hitting two cars.

Maybe kicking off again in the Irish sea on a similar line as before.
