Just back from the kids match this morning, absolutely baltic out and a few flurries of graupel!

What do you call an English man with a bottle of champagne today?

A waiter! :-)

Nearly all melted now. What a fantastic spring time this was for us snow starved east coasters!

JUST PIPING IN to say what a beautiful bank holiday. Bit cold but beautiful.

Just read a snippet on one of the news pages about a return to cold (“arctic blast”) during the Easter period.

Im loving this weather and am looking forward to spring but I missed out on the last two beasties (?) ... first one - one day of snow all morning but my granda died that day so was last thing on my mind) - melted that night.

One last wee period of snow up in Mallusk would be nice - then I can move on to spring lol. Though if it doesn’t happen I won’t be too disappointed - but no rain please - just nice weather like today ?

I like weather extremes, so not pushed either way, a bit of warmth would be a welcome change though!!!

So looking less likely that we will go uber cold Easter weekend. Just chilly and wet with some wintery stuff, especially on higher ground... A bit away from warmth of spring!

Another widespread frost this morning and zero sign of any Spring warmth with winds from the North or North East for the foreseable.

back again .. it's a rare day that I look at the forecast for Caledon and see a 48 hour blizzard (mon - wed) with temps down to a feels like -11'C . Snow total of @ 45cm expected with drifting . I haven't gone to bed and I;m not dreaming .. and it's not April fools 'till Sunday !

forecast from the 14 day from myweather2.com .. they run some good visual models but are ad heavy .. .

the fields are barer than I can remember .. and cattle go out on Monday ???

b.c.

Any chance of spring arriving anytime soon??

Hope so. I’m literally sick to death of this cold weather now. I’m so over it.

Signs from day 7/8 onwards that a warm up is on the cards. My heating boiler finally packed in after being patched up dozens of times, so need a warm up very soon. House feels damp and cold!
