Like the last easterly I wonder if we’ll see further upgrades as we get nearer to T0? Kinda over cold now and would like to see some pleasant spring warmth but then again, extraordinary weather events are the reason for my interest in weather so won’t be complaining if we see an extraordinarily cold event for the time of year. Interesting times to say the least ?

Heading to Newcastle this weekend on a stag, could be dicey enough to get home ?

Even with mild sunshine and light winds it would be dicey to get home from stag in Newcastle? ...been there wore the T Shirt ha .....good spot to catch snow showers in an easterly though

I don't intend on catching any showers unless they make it into the bars ?

Not pushed either. Would be just dry and cold for me, not much chance of snow. A Northerly would spark my interest.

Couldn't agree more, Saw enough snow to last me till next winter Roll on Spring!!!!!

You know its a bad Winter for ye when Dublin gets more snow than you had all year.

I'd should say  more cruel rather than bad.

Up until this winter, I went 8 years without lying snow on the ground. Please don't begrudge us!!!

based on this morning' runs you only have to wait 2 weeks this time...direct hit of cold pool for Ireland with likely heavier snow showers / possible longer periods of snow from Sat evening through to early hours of Monday morning...east and southeast again in the firing line

What a rank morning, would be really happy to see any snow stay in the south and east?

36 plus hours of steady rain here, awful

Hopefully see at least one decent snowfall from the blast this weekend.

Rain was incessant, heavy and caused lots of flooding here, stopped in the wee hours of today. Rotten weather!

No no grudge at all just that the winter promised so much but snatched it away or left it to the hills only lo

Terrible weather yesterday, today is a better with some sunshine out.

Feel for me, I've to wear kiltage with pipe band marching in Downpatrick today. Anyone got a nice fuffy pair of nether region warmers?
